Kompaktes, stabiles Zelt für Wanderer, die Wert auf einen möglichst leichten Rucksack legen. Für ein minimales Gewicht ist die Zelthöhe etwas niedriger und die Apsis bewusst kompakt gehalten. Ideal als kompaktes, leichtes Wanderzelt in den warmen Monaten des Jahres geeignet, kann aber auch im Winter eingesetzt werden, sofern allzu extreme Witterungsbedingungen ausbleiben. Das Außenzelt ist aus Fjällrävens neuem hochleistungsfähigem TripleRip-Nylon gefertigt. Diese innovative Konstruktion besteht aus zwei verschiedenen Gewebestärken – 20 Denier oben und 40 Denier am stärker beanspruchten Zeltboden um hohe Robustheit mit einem gleichzeitig möglichst geringen Gewicht zu kombinieren. Damit das Innenzelt beim Aufbau nicht nass wird, können Innen- und Außenzelt gekoppelt aufgebaut werden. Einfache Handhabung dank zweier farblich kodierter Zeltstangen, großzügig bemessener, reibungsarmer Gestängekanäle und einfach justierbarer Gestängehalter. Bei kritischer Witterung kann das Zelt zusätzlich mit einem zweiten Stangensatz (Zubehör) aufgebaut werden. Sechs Abspannleinen aus Dyneema mit Einhandbedienung und eingearbeitetem Reflektorgarn.

Ausgezeichnete Belüftung dank großer, hoch angeordneter Lüfter. Für gute Aussicht und maximale Luftzirkulation wird das Außenzelt bei warmen Witterungsbedingungen an beiden Enden hochgerollt. Bei warmem, aber wechselhaftem Wetter kann die Tür halb geöffnet fixiert werden – eine Auto-Stopp-Funktion verhindert, dass der Wind den Reißverschluss aufdrückt. Feinmaschiges Mesh an allen Öffnungen verhindert das Eindringen selbst allerkleinster Insekten. Wäscheleine und Mesh-Taschen im Innenzelt erleichtern das Trocknen der Ausrüstung und sorgen für Ordnung und Übersicht. Befestigungspunkte für die Hängeaufbewahrung Gear Loft (Zubehör) im Innenzelt. Genau wie alle anderen Zelte von Fjällräven wird das Abisko Lite 2 ganz ohne PVC und giftige Flammschutzmittel hergestellt. Die Imprägnierung ist PFC-frei.
